I’m finding Pilates is great for me as my instructor gives me exercises that are so gentle that the pain slowly by surely disappears and if the pain starts again at home I just do my breathing exercises and gently decrease the muscle tightness until the pain seems to disappear. If gives me a feeling that I can control all three areas of pain in my body – left hip, right lower back and left shoulder. Just have to accept that I can do something about it and it makes me more positive about life. Off to bookclub tonight, the reason I miss every 4th tech session with Viv.
